Who are we?

Oxford Editorial Consulting consists of a group of editors, all of whom were educated at Oxford, Cambridge or Ivy League universities. We are all active researchers in our respective fields, producing research output ourselves, and so have a great deal of experience of working with academic texts, and with the publication process. Many of our editors also act as referees for major journals, and hence are directly familiar with the requirements for publication.

We currently offer our services in the following fields: natural sciences, medical sciences, physical sciences, mathematics, environmental sciences, nursing, and all of the disciplines in the humanities. We have edited texts destined for over 250 journal titles, including top-flight journals, such as Nature, Scientific American and Physical Review.

Oxford Editorial Consulting was founded in 2001 by a biologist and a physicist, both of whom are D.Phil. level graduates of Oxford University. OEC excelled in its first year, gaining a customer base of 700 individual researchers. Researcher editors in different fields were recruited over subsequent years and OEC currently employs more than 50 editors covering most research fields.
